AAML receives highest-level healthcare excellence recognition

Altakassusi Alliance Medical LLC (AAML), Alliance Medical Group’s operation in Saudi Arabia, has received the highest level of recognition in the Arab Hospitals Federation’s seventh Gold Initiative Certificate programme.

AAML was named a Holistic Role Model in Healthcare Excellence 2026 at a ceremony in Abu Dhabi. The distinction recognises organisations that demonstrate excellence across multiple areas of healthcare performance, rather than within a single category.

AAML received Platinum Awards for:

  • Quality Management and Patient Safety
  • Patient-Centred Care and Experience
  • Operational Excellence and Resource Optimisation

It also received Gold Awards for:

  • Leadership and Governance
  • Workforce Development
  • Digital Health and Technology Innovation

The programme received 323 submissions from 10 countries, with 45 institutions recognised.

For AAML, the breadth of the recognition is as important as the individual awards. It spans the clinical, operational and organisational elements needed to deliver diagnostic services, from patient safety and experience to workforce skills, governance and digital innovation.

These areas also form part of Alliance Medical Group’s wider approach to social value. Across the Group, this means looking beyond the scan to how services improve access, support skilled teams, strengthen patient pathways and deliver wider value within the healthcare systems they serve.

In Saudi Arabia, Alliance Medical Group delivers diagnostic services across public and private care, with activity spanning advanced imaging, molecular and nuclear medicine, training, research and large-scale operational coordination. Its Saudi operation supports more than seven hospitals and includes over 450 team members.

The recognition reflects the work of AAML’s radiologists, technologists, nurses, administrators, quality and excellence professionals, support teams, partners and leaders serving Ministry of Health partners across seven hospitals.

Congratulations to everyone at AAML whose work contributed to this achievement.
