Rome, 30 July 2025 – Alliance Medical Italia , a leading operator in the diagnostic imaging sector and part of the iCon Infrastructure LLP group, announces the acquisition of the Balduina Medica diagnostic clinical centre , located in the heart of the Roman neighbourhood of the same name.
The transaction, completed on July 30, 2025, represents a further strategic step for Alliance Medical Italia, which consolidates its network in the capital, bringing the number of operating facilities in Lazio to five. The new center joins those already operating in Pomezia and Fonte Nuova, strengthening the coverage of the service throughout the region.
Balduina Medica is recognized as a leading provider of advanced diagnostics in Rome, thanks to its high-tech facilities and a multidisciplinary, patient-centered approach. The diagnostic imaging department is the heart of the facility, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including a 640-slice CT scan, two high-field MRI scanners (1.5 and 3 Tesla), color Doppler ultrasound, cone beam CT, DEXA, and mammography with tomosynthesis for the early diagnosis of breast diseases. Completing the healthcare offering, in addition to specialist visits for all major medical fields, are a laboratory and two surgical clinics dedicated to high-precision procedures, where cutting-edge technology and rigorous clinical protocols ensure high standards of safety and maximum patient comfort.
