Alliance Medical Iberia joined Hospital San Juan de Dios de Tenerife at Renacer Tenerife 2026, an event focused on integrative oncology, cancer prevention and support for people affected by cancer and their families.
The event brought together healthcare organisations, professionals, patients and survivors to share experiences and discuss different aspects of cancer care.
During the event, the team joined Hospital San Juan de Dios de Tenerife to present the Hospital's future Oncology Centre, designed to bring together, in a single space, different specialities and areas dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of oncological disease.
The centre will combine medical oncology, radiation oncology, advanced diagnostic imaging, nuclear medicine and multidisciplinary consultations. Improtantly, this project takes an approach that extends beyond the treatment of disease alone, recognising the emotional, psychological and social aspects of each patient's experience alongside clinical care.
Several services involved in cancer diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care will all be brought together, including Diagnostic Imaging, Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy. Its development reflects ongoing investment in specialist healthcare services within the Iberia region and the continued evolution of multidisciplinary cancer care.
For Alliance Medical Iberia, participation in the event provided an opportunity to join conversations about cancer care alongside healthcare partners and the wider community, while supporting the presentation of plans for the future Oncology Centre.
